Product Description

Radvera is the therapy lotion for cancer patients on radiotherapy in radiation induced dermatitis. It contains Aloevera, Lanolin, Glycerin, Allantoin, Vitamin E, Almond oil and Turmeric oil. Radiation burn or radiation dermatitis is a common side effect of external beam radiation therapy to treat some forms of cancer. It can make skin sore, peel, itch or turn red. Sometimes radiation therapy can cause the skin on the part of body receiving radiation to become dry and peel, itch (called pruritus), and turn red or darker. Aloevera reduces redness, rashes, & itchy skin. Lanolin prevents dry skin and irritation. Glycerin acts as a moisturizing agent. Allantoin softens, moisturizes and decreases itching and flaking. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant and protects lysis of RBCs after irradiation. Almond Oil restores the skin pH & retains the moisture. Turmeric oil prevents from inflammation. Radvera can be helpful in reducing the onset of dermatitis if used prophylactically. Regular application can reduce the severity of radiation induced dermatitis post radiation.
